« I will be looking forward to coming back again in the future. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much for them. You were left feeling like you were visiting family (in the all the best ways). The food was utterly superb. Nothing was pretentious, it was good portions and so flavourful. « I was looking for a hotel with an indoor swimming pool, a room with a sea view, close to the city centre and within 130£. And I found the Cumberland. The indoor swimming pool is in the hotel next door ( Suncliff). The staff and the management were brilliant. Always helpful and friendly at all stages. The breakfast starts at 7 am and was quite comfortable. The restaurant and the bar are very cosy. The only negative part is that the walls between rooms are very thin but… the clientele was good...
