'This is a great place to stay when visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It is next to the visitor center and the busses circulating around the historical area. While we did not use many of the facilities since we are "old folks", there are a lot of things for kids to do on the property- pool, splash pad, ping pong, miniature golf. The hotel is a little dated but that is part of its charm. Some of the electronics could be improved. There is no restaurant at this hotel but the expanded continental...

'This is an amazing resort & I highly recommend. Check in took about 15 minutes. Lori was able to handle a building change request to get both of my rooms in the same building. I had called ahead to request this but it did not happened but Lori was able to get it fixed. Then came the timeshare pitch. Kareem was informative but did not pressure me when I politely & firmly declined. Mgmt please reconsider this part of check in experience & just tell us what it is & give option of visiting...

'Would definitely stay again!!! Cottages and grounds were extremely clean. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Our initial key did not work. When requesting a working key, we requested a cottage with fewer or no steps. The young man (i do not remember his name...sorry) searched for such accommodations even though I requested an extra night at check in. It was a pleasurable stay. Thank you.'

'I stayed for one night with my emotional support dog and was charged $150 extra. Why advertise pet friendly. I have never paid that fee for one night. Most places waived any fees esp for a service dog for any disability.'

'Breakfast was ok. Our stay overlapped a large group of students who were very noisy and had no regard for other guests, but that was not the hotel's fault. I feel that the handicapped shower in our room was still a bit dangerous as the floor tiles were extremely slippery. My mother was very worried about her older sister slipping, so we put down plenty of towels outside of the shower. Perhaps they can add a nonslip mat in the bathroom in addition to the safety rails.'

'Did not go on property. Room not made over. Room was way down end of 3rd. Floor. No breakfast. Navi directions allways tryed to direct us through gated community.'

'Voordeel van dit hotel is dat het erg dichtbij pretpark Busch Gardens Williamsburg ligt. De kamer was ruim en de bedden lagen prima. Echter zat er wel een grote gele vlek in het beddengoed en een oude bloedvlek. Medewerkers waren ook niet allemaal even vriendelijk.'

'The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and available. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent except the juice machine was out of service and juice was limited.'
