About 10 text messages to the host and finally got it to work. 2nd the fold out loveseat was way past its usefulness! « The Spartan had everything we could have needed for our short trip. The property is truly beautiful. The campers are nestled into trees and truly give you that “ camping” feel. There was the perfect amount of room for my family of 4. The property is something out of a fairytale. The kids loved the animals. The horses were my daughter’s favorite. « The Grandkids (6 & 8) had a great time exploring the farm and feeding the animals. They also enjoyed Big Rocks Park, the Wild Animal Park and the Dinosaur Valley State Park. The Carriage House was quaint and fun, but would have been better with dish towels and more kitchen dishes/utensils. Also, The bedroom is crowded for 4. There was also no water pressure when we arrived because a hose had been left on in the farm area. That was solved relatively quickly. »

« Loved that place. Wish we could have stayed longer to walk around and enjoy the property, but my wife and I were in town for our grandson's baseball game and were "in and out" very quickly. Very well done property with what looked like a chapel. I'm sure that they must use it as a wedding venue. »

« The Fossil Farm House was a beautiful place to stay and just 15 minutes out of Glen Rose and the different activities. The house is beautifully decorated in Joanna Gaines style of decor. We stayed from June 9 thru June 11 with three of our grandkids. Each kid got their own room and there was plenty of room for more. Cynthia was great at communications.
