'Book this now - you will be so happy you did. If you are a couple and are looking for an amazing time hiking, relaxing and getting away from the "real world" you will not be disappointed. The host, Joel, is wonderful - available, fast response, doesn't tire of multiple questions, etc. - just wants to make sure your stay is wonderful...which it was! The cabin is so well appointed and so clean! The bed and mattress were very comfortable. We also used the laundry - super helpful due to all...

'The duplex was very neat and clean. Everything is very well organized and easy to find. The communication with the host was top notch and they were very accommodating. I didn’t know it was a duplex and thought it was a house so that was a surprise. I live in KY and know how humid it is here and they had a dehumidifier in the unit to help with that but there is a strong mildew smell throughout the duplex. The air unit is extremely loud and shakes the floor especially in the back bedroom. Overall...

'Here’s a polished version of your review:We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with another couple. The accommodations were excellent — comfortable, clean, and very well stocked with everything we needed. It truly felt like a hidden gem, especially with the ample parking space for our trailers, which can be hard to find. We loved relaxing around the fire pit in the evenings after a long day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back soon!'

"Wij hebben 2 nachten geslapen in het Black Bear Motel in Slade en hebben genoten; prima plek als uitvalsbasis voor alle activiteiten in Red River Gorge en echt een leuk motel om te slapen! Vriendelijke dame bij het inchecken en de kamer was ruim en schoon. Heerlijke bedden en ruim parkeren. Dit motel krijgt van ons een tien!"
