'The house is in a beautiful spot, looking out over a verdant manicured lawn sloping down to the jungle and then ultimately out to the ocean far below. Monkeys visit the property daily. 'What a change of scenery this was compared to living in a city! Now that I'm back home, I miss the sounds of nature from this place. At first, the sounds of the insects, goats and chickens was kind of a shock to my system. I had a hard time sleeping for the first night or two. But I totally got used to it, and now I miss it. 'Loved my room and enjoyed my few days on the property. It was quiet due to it being low season. I did appreciate the respect having a restaurant on site that serves local Caribbean food. There is nothing worse than a property only having “continental” food and not proving an opportunity to enjoy local cuisine. The staff were all friendly and helpful anytime I had a question. They were great about booking transportation and excursions for me.'

'The hotel is isolated from the happenings on the island. I was told that the hotel was fully booked but there were no other cars onsite besides my rental. There was no one available for common questions and the gate was closed by 5pm. This was a manual gate which is fine but the lightening was bad on the exterior of the property making it difficult to see when returning after dark.
