'We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. One of the best aspects is that the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from Commercial Street, and within easy walking distance of most of the many...

Niki and Piet are really excellent hosts, very accommodating and great to talk to. The sauna and hot tub are fabulous too. We had such an enjoyable holiday, some highlights included getting married in Lerwick, a boat trip to Mousa and visiting the broch, exploring the Jarlshof site and walking across to St Ninians and walking around the island. 10/10!'

'The week we spent at Voortrekkers Lodge, Levenwick, was an absolutely marvellous experience. The spectacular view from the lodge, the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts and the cosy, clean accomodation all contributed to a wonderful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
