'We had a lovely stay at The Ship Inn. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time). 'Budget hotel met vlotte en super vriendelijke bediening. Eetgelegenheid voor lunch en diner aan democratische prijzen met ruim aanbod. Er zijn ook nog veel andere eetgelegenheden en enkele dipermarktjes in de Dukestreet om de hoek. Bovendien ligt het op wandelafstand van het centrum, station en ligt het op zeer korte afstand van enkele bushaltes. Verwacht echter geen luxe, de kamers zijn ok maar hier en daar hangen wat dingen los. Ik ga er in ieder geval in juli es terug voor een nachtje.'

'I booked late in the day but staff were very welcoming on check in. Clean, warm and comfy room. Great pub attached and Excellent breakfast. Location is ideal right at the top of a busy high street but noise wasn't an issue during the stay.'
