'Bed was lovely and comfortable. Room was very nice. Struggling to get in and out of the shower. Staff on the whole were lovely but felt there was an atmosphere of discontentment amongst staff. Food expensive with service charge added without giving us the opportunity to say no. Rats running around the skip outside. Needs a general paint job outside. Leaving on a positive the breakfast was lovely.'

'Gezellige pub met prima kamer. Zoals je op de foto’s al ziet is het wat oubollig maar dat geeft juist wel een mooie karakteristieke sfeer. Goed en snel geholpen bij inchecken. Volgende keer ontbijt in deze toko overslaan. Een half uur wachten op een zwarte koffie en dan cappuccino krijgen. En na ruim een uur mijn ontbijt gekregen wat ook zeker niet overeenkwam met de bestelling. Omdat ik geen zin had om nog langer te wachten het verder maar laten gaan. Mevrouw deed heel druk maar er waren...

'The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there. The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites.'

'Good points: friendly staff at check-in, microwave and full-size fridge in room, decent wifi, good location. Less good points: overhead shower only (and a strange second shower head alongside that ran at the same time (wasteful), no full-length hanging space, cold tap sometimes ran hot so had to run it ages to get cold water (wasteful), skimpy and thin curtains that don’t cover the windows, random housekeeping. I was in room 28 at the front of the property with an exterior light directly...

'The room was ok, but very hot ane stuffy. There was a fan, but it didn't work very well at all. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great, the walls dirty with scuff marks.'

'Almost everything about this stay was excellent. I would say that some of the interior is in need of maintenance (sagging floors) and one bathroom was tight spacing. The parking was not available but we were able to get parking nearby.'

'Good clean room, air conditioning was welcome in the summer heat. It was a little further from the main town than I was expecting. The downsides are the internet is ridiculously slow and to get faster internet there’s an additional charge as was the 15 pound charge to check in early, which I understand if you were asking for an 8am check in but, to charge that much when you’re an hour early seems a bit money gouging.'
