« What a great place for a family get together. The rooms were very comfortable and Max and his team went out of their way to make us feel at home. The pool was excellent (a bit cool for me) but the kids loved it I would recommend this house in a heartbeat to any large family group. Plenty of room for bike riding etc and felt very safe for the kids. »

« An extremely comfortable and well-appointed house. We had commitments around Orange, Oberon and Bathurst & this house was well located to serve. A wonderful bonus was the garden which was in full spring bloom and lovely to wander around & make of the outdoor setting. I’m glad we brought some firewood because it was still cool enough in the evenings & this made us very cosy. »

« This place is amazing it’s so beautiful every detail is thought of and the hosts are amazing. For all ages. Going in winter yes can be cold but the house heating and activities were not hindered in any way. We cannot wait to have another stay there soon. Highly recommend. Kids grandparents teens dog all perfect. The animals and wildlife birds echidnas kangaroos deer even the cows we helped feed. »

« We loved our time in Bathurst staying at Rose Cottage. The central location of the lovely historical cottage was perfect. We loved how the old fireplaces have been utilised as features and the working fireplace in the big sunroom out the back was great! »

« Very spacious and warm with central heating and plenty of bedroom radiators.Could tell owners stay there, as everything needed was there. All nice and clean. Although only 3 teaspoons!As a group of retirees, and a couple that could not do stairs, it would have been good to have a floor plan available showing bedroom configs, so we could plan who slept where. Verbal description did help, but a plan would have made it easier.Overall excellent. We very much enjoyed our stay. »
