'We had room 301. Great view of the race track and Mt. Panorama. The beds were so comfortable. The only thing was we couldn’t get the air conditioning to heat up past 19 degrees and it was a cold couple of nights.'

'The room was clean and spacious. Cooking facilities adequate and check-in was really easy. It wasn’t as modern as the photos looked but it wasn’t bad just a bit dated. The air-conditioner was needed for heating but only blue cool air. We just turned it off we had had packed warm clothes so it turned out to be no problem. Outdoor sitting area was lovely. Although not right in the centre of town, it suited our needs as we were able to cook our own meal at night without the need to go out.'

'We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and it was lovely. Plenty of spare towels, too, which is always a plus. The managers were extremely friendly and helpful, both via texts and in person. NB: Parking was quite tight.Also, the electric blanket is broken in the middle room. '

'Whilst the accommodation was well priced, the room was filthy. Thick dust on all room surfaces and the shower was full of mould along with the shower curtain. On the plus side, the bed was clean and comfortable.'

'We loved the pool. But unfortunately our cabin was very very basic. The tv was stuck on channel ten and reception couldn’t provide batteries so we could change channel. The bunk bed was in the toilet corridor. Not a great bed. Overall not the worst, just shabby and felt like it wasn’t quite worth $179 a night. '

'Comfortable and quiet, despite being located on a hill next to the highway. Executive rooms have a small balcony with very nice views. A simple breakfastbuffet is included. Some rooms/bathrooms are suitable for disabled persons. '

'This is my go to when I stay in bathurst for work. Walking distance to food and shopping, easy parking and pleasant staff.'

'Extremely comfortable room. For value for money - Excellent and right in town. Aircon kept the room warm in a 0 degrees night and the bed was extremely comfortable. Panthers club next door and oxford hotel with a good steakhouse upstairs over the road. Well worth the money'

'What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. 'Great 1 night stay. Wish we stayed longer. So relaxing looking out over the fields whilst sitting eating our dinner by the fire pit. Felt like you were miles from civilisation but you werent far from suburbia.'
