'Het etablissement is een manoir en heeft dus iets kasteelachtig. Het is een groot en mooi domein. Er is ook een restaurant, maar we zijn er niet gaan eten. We kregen kamer '4'. De kamer is groot. De inrichting is wat oubollig, maar dat hoort er ergens bij. De badkamer is roze, was ook heel groot, en had een douche en een bubbelbad. Dat was wel leuk! De WiFi werkte uitstekend. Het enige negatieve is dat er in de kamer wat beestjes zitten: zo viel er ineens een soort kever naast me in bed en...

'This must be the best motel I have stayed at. Friendly check in. Easy to have a meal at the adjoining pub with friendly staff. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. No dust bunnies under the bed. Our stay was for overnight to make the final drive to catch the ferry so much more relaxing. A late checkout was no problem. It is off the main A1 highway so very quiet. I highly recommend a stay.'

'The lodgings, food and service was fantastic! I felt like I was in a Jane Austin film and loved every second. The room was updated, comfortable and very cozy for the winter. The food at the resturant was the best meal we had in Tassie and would come back again just for that. Staff were friendly and overall a 5 star experience.'

'Very cute cottage to stay in and not far out of town. Only thing that we didn’t love was the single bed next to the stairs both of our kids were too scared to sleep in it.'

'😀 Das Charles Reuben Estate ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr geräumig mit einem besonderen Flair. Es ist in einer ruhigen Weingegend angesiedelt. 🙁 Wir wollten den BBQ benutzen, dieser war aber derart schmutzig, dass wir unser Stück Fleisch in der Pfanne gebraten haben. Schade dass beim Schlafzimmer kein Badezimmer vorhanden ist, wer ab und zu in der Nacht raus muss hat nicht gerade Freude die Treppen hinunter und wieder hinauf.'

'We recently stayed at a property that had some promising features, but unfortunately, the condition of the rooms was not up to par. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the house had not been cleaned. The most unsettling discovery was the presence of spiders throughout the entire house. This made for a very uncomfortable experience, as we had to spend our first night dealing with and eliminating them. 'Owner friendly and welcoming. Lovely, comfortable cottage. The bed was very confy and all rooms spaciousWe also enjoyed all the extras, port, fudge, shortbread & wine etc. Good range of teas & pod coffee. Only 1 star less was dirtydue to some dirtydishes and pots as well as the coffee thrfrother'

'Barracks is well situated. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Would benifit from an upgrade. '

'This property is very basic. Some good additions would be a toilet roll holder, dish drainer and a serving bowel. It is a great summer stay but is not suited to a winter stay. It only has one heater in the living room and tiny fan heaters in the bedrooms. We had to buy hot water bottles and were lent a second large heater. Convenience wise it is between Hobart and the airport, within a 10 minute drive.'

'Lovely hosts, both Kim and Sharon, this was the best part of the stay. We had the cabin with 2 bedrooms which are great for our family of 4. We fed the farm animals once during our 2 day stay which was lovely. Nice fresh bread for breakfast was such a nice touch.'
