'We enjoy this historic hotel so much, that when we travel south, we take time to stay overnight here. The dining menu is excellent, the staff friendly and efficient. The bartender outstanding! There is a used bookstore, museums and several unique shops nearby. In the warmer months they have a sweet roof top bar, with an amazing view.'

'My wife & I enjoyed an overnight stay at the Spark in Wytheville, while traveling from our home in Ohio to Myrtle Beach. High praise for virtually all areas of the Spark.... affordable, clean, well-sized room & a very friendly staff, especially Ashley who checked us in upon our arrival. My only criticism would be of the breakfast .... for the price range ( $126 ish for the night ), I was hoping for more than cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. No hot food at all.'

'Hotel and rooms recently remodeled. Very clean and modern. Front desk and breakfast staff very friendly. Location is so convenient to restaurants. Highly recommend the Red Stag pub with German menubit3ms and you can just walk across the parking lot to it.'

'Stayed on way to our destination and then booked again for return. Very easy to get to right off highway. The room was clean and breakfast was good. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereals, bagels. Good variety. We had a pet with us. Hotel is pet friendly. The only thing I would recommend is better lighting in the dog potty area. At night, it was a little uncomfortable. VERY dark and dog didn't want to go there. Ended up using a little patch of grass at gas station next...
