« The room had a beautiful lake view. There was a second room with bunk beds which was fun for the kids. Kayaking was fun, but swimming in the lake was challenging since there is no beach or ladder off the dock. My kids loved the smores over the fire pit »

« The rooms are by far the smallest I've stayed in since a micro-boutique hotel in DC. The place tries hard but is hardly worth the premium rate that they charge by at least $100. Parking and property access is a mess. They sent us to Settler's Inn in Hawley for breakfast. Nice place - staying there next time. »

« We reserved a room for 3 people, but upon arrival they told us they did not have a room for 3 and very gracefully solved the problem by accommodating us in a property next door, while still offering us the breakfast we paid off. It was a bit disappointing to stay in the property next door, since it was not as nice as what we reserved but we thanked they resolved the issue and we did not have to find last minute accommodations somewhere else. »

« This motel was perfect for my needs after a long day of driving. Free parking directly in front of my room after a friendly and helpful check-in. Other than the free parking, there are not any other free amenities and that was fine. The room was fine and very clean especially the bathroom. The location was close to town. This was a great value for me. »

« The property was off the beaten track which was nice for noice and traffic. The amenities were wonderful. Our king room was more like a condo/ cottage than a hotel room. The property is tastefully landscaped and we had a back door that led to open space with chairs and fire pit. Wood and matches were also supplied. « I can honestly say, this place is a great spot for a small get away. The manger was so kind and the staff made me feel very welcomed. The restaurant and bar was great too. You can tell the bartender knew her stuff, as far as location it’s a bit out of the way but I liked that. So weather your looking for a good place to get tacos and drinks or a place to stay for the night this place has all three at a good price. »
