« The outside looked freshly painted. The inside was clean. The vinyl plank flooring in the room had evidently expanded after being installed. It was "floating" above the concrete underneath. I killed a large cockroach in the room, and a spider in our bed. The man at the desk asked us twice if we had pets, and we said no pets, no smoking. The room he gave us had a definite pet odor. The bed was comfortable. I was thinking about cockroaches and spiders, so did not sleep well. »
