'The cozy cottage was immaculate! Every single room is thoughtfully styled and comfortable to stay in. The built in fireplace warmed the space on a cool night and our family of five fit comfortably on the couch and in the recliner for a movie night. Although we didn’t cook in, the kitchen was well stocked; the neighborhood was quiet and safe, sweet place! '

'This is my second time staying here and will definitely keep coming back! Hosts are very communicative and responsive. Parking was convenient and easy. We were always able to park right out in front. The kitchen is well stocked and it was nice to make home cooked meals. Also loved having the ability to do laundry on my trip because it means I don’t have to pack as much! The place is also located very conveniently near highway exits so it’s easy to get to places. 'This place is amazing! I highly recommend it! Very spacious in room size! The TV is huge in the main living area. Our host was excellent in responding to any need. You won’t be disappointed!'

'Overall you’re getting what you pay for. The downstairs toilet didn’t work and there weren’t any towels or lotion but the place was spacey and nice'

'Hilltop Retreat had everything we needed to accommodate my family traveling to Maryland. The house is spacious and parking was available. The driveway is on a steep hill and there are lots of steps, so be prepared. I did reach out about the temperature in the house, which is controlled remotely and ot was adjusted. I would love to stay again during pool season to enjoy that amenity!'

'We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved.'

'The host was very responsive to questions prior to our arrival, as well as a few things during our stay. Was a great place for my family to stay with our two dogs, as well as plenty of room for local family to come for dinner and catch up. Great location with plenty of shops and food choices near by, as well as groceries stores to get stuff for the house. Would definitely stay here again if needed to.'

'We enjoyed our stay on the farm and give it 4.5/5 stars only for noise. You can hear the guests in the other unit, but the beds are comfortable and the apartment was clean. We appreciated the Christmas tree! It was a nice place to stay while visiting family in the area, and we would book again. The unpaved road is in good shape and was not an issue.'

'Convenient location but no heat the entire stay. Nobody fixed the lack of heat. Power went out in two rooms without repair. No offer to make it right. No direct communication from property owner. '
