'They were in flood zone when Hellen happened. Unfortunately room had a very strong smell, it bathroom I’ve seen the mold. Bedding and towels were clean but in general it wasn't pleasant feeling because of that strong smell'

'Ms. Pat was so wonderful and even left us a few goodies in the frig! The cabin was beautiful with its display of her husband’s artwork; he is very talented. We loved seeing the animals and a woodpecker even visited. Great little vacation!'

'I could sit on the porch forever. There is a wonderful bubbling stream 10 yards in front of the tiny home which is nestled at the foot of a mountain ridge and surrounded by old growth trees. Nearby Erwin provides easy-to-get-to groceries and supplies as well as The Groovy Smoothie. Just 15 minutes across the North Carolina border you find Mars Hill which has some very nice restaurants. The tiny home was just as advertised. The host, Jennifer, made sure I was content throughout the stay.'

'This place was so nice and clean! Brand new appliances and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. It is on the outside of town, but still convenient to a grocery store and Dollar General (both less than10 minutes).'

'Chuck and Valda are the best hosts you could ask for! They provided helpful clear directions, shared fun historical stories about the property, and have all of the local suggestions on what to check out. This area is full of great places and we can't wait to come back and explore more! The cabins are cute, cozy, and offer anything you could need, within the most peaceful beaitiful area.'

'Had an amazing stay at the Hideaway cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and just what we hoped for. Fantastic scenic views nestled next to running creek and secluded forest. Perfect place to relax also conveniently located to Erwin and Asheville. Absolutely awesome hosts with a genuine concern we had the best experience possible. '

'The place was definitely tricky to find coming in at night time, but once we found it we fell in love immediately! Having the hot tub out on the porch right next the creek was amazing. Couldn’t ask for better! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!!'

'There were no windows I the living space; however, this could not be helped. The furniture in the living are needs improvement. The sofa sinks so low, standing is difficult, the chair too stiff. Basically the apartment was furnished like a dorm room with furniture of marginal quality. The location is great located in downtown.'

'The property is clean, unique, and spacious. It’s an old building so it has its quirks, low water pressure and a loud A/C, so loud it’s hard to talk over. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. The location is great and parking was easy.'

'This was the most beautiful stay. The creek running through the property was so calming while sitting in the sparkling hot tub. Clean and hot just as expected. The cabin was hard to leave. It’s a great get away and I can only hope to live in a similar setting one day. Thank you for the stay and friendly communication. We will return and refer any friends who may be staying in the area.
