« We stayed at this hotel twice on our way south and back. The first time was not good. The toilet was very low to the ground which was difficult for us as we are in our 80s. There was no handsoap at the sink so we had to reach across the tub to the body wash every time we needed to wash our hands. The second time we asked for an accessible room which solved the toilet problem and there was soap. »

« One advertisement said the hotel had a restaurant, which it did - but it was closed; all the advertisements showed a comfortable outdoor sitting area - it was in storage until after Memorial Day. Room was ok, but in need of updating…. All-in-all, I would say there are many other much better options at comparable rates that I would select on my next stop in Durham…. »

« This is a brand new hotel on Duke's campus, about 100 meters away from the Washington Duke Inn. It is simple but nice. However, for its price, I'd rather pay a few dollars extra and just stay at the Washington Duke Inn. »
