'Very comfortable bed and a clean room. Spacious room. Staff was friendly and always willing to help. Sat on the beach of Lake Superior. Restaurant on site with moderately good food. Only real was it's remoteness to other properties. I would recommend it for a quiet getaway.'

'Easiest check-in and check-out experiences ever! There were four of us traveling together and we appreciated the spaciousness of the suite. If you are looking to catch a sea plane to Isle Royale National Park I highly recommend staying a D's Base Camp the night before.'

'Neighborhood was quiet, place was clean, bed was comfortable, and we could use the fire pit! They also had wood we could use if we didn’t bring our own firewood. Overall a great stay! Love how close we were to the porcupine mountains. Which was great after a long day of hiking. Copper harbor was about two hours north, which wasn’t too bad of a drive either since it was a scenic drive.'
