'I didn’t actually have any contact with the property manager due to being offsite pretty much all day and gone early in the morning. Check in was super easy and just showed up at the site. I didn’t get to explore the property due to the fire ban and restrictions on accessing the woods. View just down the road from the site was spectacular and would recommend driving down before the end of your stay. RV was clean. A bit tight, but that is to be expected. 'This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside.'

'This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again.'

"We loved staying in the Forest Lake House! Michael and Winnie were gracious hosts and very welcoming. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking, the canoe and roasting marshmallows over the fire in front of the house overlooking Lake Ainslie. A true gem! "

"There was no reception on site. Apparently it was mentioned in the booking but when you travel for three weeks and checkin/out almost daily we didn’t noticed. Also, some other locations gave us directions/messages before arrival and this location didn’t. On site we had to call a remote reception. From there on all went smoothly though. Room was clean and all necessities were there. It’s by the marina. Parking is easy on site. "
