'AC very good, kitchen very good, room very clean but no room service and we were told that rooms have all the cleaning stuff necessary but didn't have a broom. Concierge agents very professional and diligents at all times. Receptionist extremely rude treating people as enemies, i think they forget that we are the clients. 'Read the previous reviews so I had very low expectations. Short walk from the airport was nice, quiet place to lay my head at night. Things were broken in the room and you need a taxi or to rent a car to go anywhere. We had no running water the last day and the staff said that had been an on going issue for weeks. No apology they just brushed it off. '

Geen lift dus met zware koffer een hele toer om boven te komen als je niet op de eerste verdieping zit. 2 nachten meer dan genoeg om hier te verblijven. 'The views were awesome, the staff were very friendly but breakfast wasn’t different each day. The waffle was extremely hard, but the egg and sausage breakfast was decent. Breakfast also didn’t come with a drink of any kind, but overall I wouldn’t mind going back. Now that I know what to expect and what not to expect. Pretty decent hotel in the cut off the beaten path. I like the privacy. '

'room was clean and there was a tv and coffee maker, otherwise it was AWFUL. The parking was not safe for my elderly parents to navigate. There was no elevator, and my mom had a terrible time on the stairs. No hot water for showers. There was trash in the refrigerator. Restaurant was a room, not enough seating for the 4 of us. Extremely loud people outside and in hallways. Someone even tried to enter our room in middle of the night. It was worst experience ever.'

'The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! '
