The house sits further back from the road than most houses in Costa Rica, but there is still a lot of road noise for someone coming from the United States. The property manager was pleasant, responsive, and helpful, with a good command of English. 'The owner greeted us with a beautifully set table with a fresh loaf of bread, butter and an assortment of tees and fresh coffee. They assisted us with information to local stores and restaurants. The house looks just as shown on their site. It is located in the highlands approx 40 min drive from the airport, in a quiet neighbourhood. 'The house was well maintained and comfortable (we didn't spend a lot of time there, but the kitchen was well appointed, beds were comfortable) and the location was perfect for hiking Volcan Barva and starting our CR trip. We went to Nayara next and found monkeys were free there jumping from tree to tree. It also got very crowded during the day as they allow outside guests to the gardens.
