'It seemed a very nice villa on top of the hills with a view. We were happy when we first arrived, though after 20 mins the electricity shut off, for 2,5 hours, in dark with kids, the team did respond real fast and the tech came by to fix the emergency light that didn’t work. Positives: - The view is very nice - the grounds are greener than on the pics - the house is quite large and rooms have good bathrooms, but villa 8 second bedroom is separate, weird! - the furnishing is nice wood, well...

'We loved our stay at Tiki Villas. The properties were well furnished and in an idyllic location and the restaurant and pool area is exceptional. Admittedly, you can here some road noise on occasions in the distance but this is almost inevitable along this part of the coast. Also, it's nothing compared to the noise of the wildlife 😀. There was a problem when we booked in, as we were supposed to have a double double villa but due to some issue with their bookings, they had overbooked these type...

'Na moeizame auto rit, aankomst met adembenemende uitzicht. Alles tot in de puntjes verzorcht. Prachtige bouw en inrichting met natuurlijke materialen. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook het eten is een aanrader. Kortom fantastisch. PS. Zorg dat je een 4 x 4 auto hebt of dat je door hotel op parkeerterrein wordt opgehaald.'

'Sauberes, sehr einfaches Zimmer im Hostel, bequemes Bett, Moskitonetz an den Fenstern, mitten im Wald gelegen, freundliches Personal. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sanitäte Anlagen sind ok. Die wenig entfernte Schnellstraße ist etwas zu hören, stört aber nicht, da nachts eher wenig Verkehr ist.'

'There were so many monkeys every day. We saw toucans Maciel’s, spider monkeys and capuchins. There are so many trees and flowers that makes this place so beautiful. The staff were so lovely and helped us organize tours and taxis while we were there. The beach is right in front and this area of Costa Rica is so beautiful. '

'De luxe kamer had eigenlijk geen luxe en het was vrij krap. Een koelkast is aanwezig en tevens een koffiezetapparaat, waar je zelf je koffie moet voor kopen. Ook de ruimte voor de rijtjes met kamers is beperkt door een volgende rij gekoppelde kamers. De waterleidingdruk viel continue weg ook voor enkele uren waardoor wc spoelingen of douchen niet altijd op de gewenste momenten mogelijk waren. Het ontbijt was matig en het restaurant echt te duur. Daarvoor zijn er alternatieven in de omgeving....
