'We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Villa. Everything was as described. We kayaked, fished, snorkeled with whale sharks up the coast and visited a local cenote. The restaurants in Puerto Morales were excellent. It was hard to pick from the many choices. The town is still somewhat small with the feel of a fishing village although much more developed than when we stayed there in 1989. 'We really enjoyed this property. It is tucked into the jungle, quiet, peaceful, very safe. It is just a few miles from the center of Puerto Morelos, and convenient for daytripping to other places - Valladolid, Ek Balam, cenotes, Playa del Carmen. We had a little confusion about getting let to gated community, but the hosts were able to quickly straighten it out. I guess I would rather have the guards be overzealous than to let just anyone in. 'Perfect for a couple wanting to get away from it all including the crowds of Cancun and Playa De Carmen. You can easily walk the beach to Puerto Moreno Beach which is a stunning small town. If you have a car, 10mins tops. All the restaurants there had awesome food. Touristy stores, once you’ve been to one, you’ve been to all. Highly recommended stay!!'

"Een goed leuk uitziend hotel Er is wel wat te doen sommige dingen betaald . Eten best veel en veel waar je apart kan gaan eten maar weinig variatie. pas op met taxi het is een gesloten gebied dus je komt daar alleen met hun taxi af omdat deze hotel buiten de hotel zone valt die zijn erg prijzig "

"Nieuw hotel met prachtige en grote kamers. Vriendelijke service. Geen beach ! Wel mooi zwembad met bijna hele dag vrij luide muziek. 95% van Gasten zijn Amerikanen en het hotel heeft helaas geen Latin vibe."
