As cliche as it is to say, the pictures do it no justice. What you don’t get a true sense of is the scale of just how large this home really is. My guests and I enjoyed the ample space and the ability to get away from the crowd without having to leave the house, while not feeling confined to some small room. We found the parking to be sufficient for a group of 10 people, given the additional garage space. The outdoor kitchen was definitely a hit, and so was the game room. I opted to take the 3rd floor bedroom, which is like an apartment to itself, replete with living room and balcony. Now, there isn’t an elevator in this house, so those stairs make gor a pretty good workout, so keep this in mind when considering booking. If there was any critique I would offer, it would be the in reference to the multileveled first floor, particularly leading out of the kitchen into the sunken living room. If you’re not paying attention, you may trip. The host was very helpful, and easy to reach out to. I plan on making this an annual retreat for my group.

Amazing location!

The location was absolutely amazing! You’re close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery store. The home also came with a golf cart which we utilized everyday. It was an awesome stay and will definitely book with Kevin again. His communication was great, answered within minutes and was very helpful throughout our stay.

Relaxing Stay

This property was amazing. Kevin was very responsive whenever we had any questions about our stay. The house was great for 2 families. We had 5 kids and 4 adults and there was more than enough room. The location is perfect for getting to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, needs some TLC

The location and size of the house were perfect. Having 5 bedrooms with their own bathroom made our trip very comfortable. And the location was great, quick drive in the car or golf cart to the beach - you can even walk. The house is dated and needs updating. The dishwasher leaked and the outdoor bathroom toilet wouldn't flush without lifting the tank cover and pulling the chain. The outdoor shower didn't drain the water and sand away and apoeared to have mold in the tile. The property manager/owner is very responsive but for the price, i would have expected this house to be updated and in perfect condition.

Basic Essentials and Amenities listed NOT working

When we rented the place, we expected all the essential amenities to be in working order. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Upon arrival, we discovered that the kitchen refrigerator & freezer were not working,confirmed by a technician. Dishwasher not working, the toaster only 2 working slots The spare refrigerator’s freezer also not functional, and the ice maker in the spare was not hooked up to a water line. Additionally, the ice maker in the bar area was not working. As a result, we had no freezer and no working ice maker, which led to numerous trips and expenses to purchase ice. Furthermore, there was no hot water in the downstairs master bathroom, so we had to take cold showers. Using the shower in the other downstairs bathroom resulted in water leaking into the garage. The upholstery in the house was in such poor condition that we felt uncomfortable sitting on the chairs. The cleaners were considerate enough to cover the chairs and table, and the host arranged for a service to address the sofa, which required three hours of our vacation time. Moreover, the cleaners suggested that the stools should be discarded due to the smell. Ultimately, we rated our overall experience with 2 stars because, despite the numerous issues, we (a group of 18 ladies in our 60s) made the best of a difficult situation, and the golf cart worked. It's also worth mentioning that the host unexpectedly bought wristbands for the use of the communal pool, as only 1 was provided. This raised a que

Great Space

This is an amazing house for space & privacy. A lot of eating areas for everyone, kids enjoyed the game room. Kevin, the host, was prompt in addressing any needs. Golf cart came in handy for back & forth to beach or community pool.

Beautiful outside, but needs a lot of work on the inside.

We had a nice time during our stay in Destin. This home ONLINE is stunning. However we were disappointed when we arrived because the inside of the house needs a LOT of work. Refrigerator had stains on the bottom and stopped working. Luckily there is a second fridge so we transferred our food over. Ice maker stopped working. Blender was cracked and coffee machine was missing a part. Hole in corner of wall downstairs and walls were very scuffed up. The pool room upper window had an entire piece of framing missing. Don't put anyone in the bunk room because the thermostat didnt work on the second floor so two of our friends were very uncomfortable being in such a hot room. Lots of lights throughout the had burnt out bulbs. There was broken glass on the patio the day we arrived. We were a group of 11 and every one of us agreed that the house needs a LOT of work. We will not be staying here next time. Sorry.

Ok stay if you don’t mind all the issues with the home

The house is aesthetically pleasing but looks can be deceiving. Upon our arrival we recieved an email from owner stating that a few things needed repairing and that we needed to set the previous guests’ trash out on the curve for pick up. A few things needing repair is an understatement. A lot of the lights didn’t work. The downstairs toilet had no handle and the 3rd floor toilet seat was loose. The pool was dirty and the garage smelled of urine and trash. The upstairs bunkbed room was musty and the toilet made a very loud buzzing noise when flushed. The second floor king room had no lights at all. Both balconies were dirty and the furniture on the second floor balcony was broken. My mom set on the couch and almost injured herself. I’m a lawyer and the only thing I could think about is if my mom had injured herself then that would have been a major lawsuit. Maintenance did come the next day but did something to the pool to where it was no longer heated and the spa was also cold. The water also started to go down in the pool. I advised Kevin of this and he told me to go to this gated area and turn on a “switch”. He did not advise me that the door to that gated area automatically closed and me and my daughter got locked in. I was panicked and had to push the gate as hard as I could and get my hand through the crack to unlock, injuring my right hand. The water was still cold, needless to say we couldn’t swim in it our get in the spa. No key to golf cart either. Overall not great

Everything from start to finish was amazing. Kevin was the best host we have ever had and responded to everything we asked before and during our trip. This house is perfect and we had the best week in Destin. We will definitely be renting this house again in the future.

Great location, very close to gulf side beach! Host was very responsive with questions (like how to turn on the pool heater, for instance). House was as described, accurate to photos, kitchen was well supplied with pots/pans/dishes if you need to cook. Very nice house! Quiet neighborhood location at least during our February visit.

Great house in a great location for a big family

House was perfect for our family vacation. The bunk bed room was perfect for the teenage kids. The other 4 master bedrooms with their own bath was great as well for the parents. We had a full house of 16 people and it never felt crowded the entire trip. The beach was a quick 1-2 min away by golf cart. We didn’t walk it, but prob 8-10 min walk. The neighborhood was pleasant and close to grocery store and even a few restaurants within walking distance. The owner Kevin was always available with any questions. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Spring Break 2023

Great communication with home , great house. 8 wrist bands are supplied with the house and to get into the pool etc each additional band is $50 per band for the week . So, if you have a large group who want to go enjoy the pool etc at the same time, you will need to purchase them. The HOA is very strict on the rules and there is a 10 pm cut off during the week and 11 pm during the weekend . You cannot basically go outside your unit and make any noise after that time and the security monitors it all night long. With a large group it would be nice to listen to music by the pool or in the deck past 10 pm It’s a great location and the home was clean. Kevin addressed any small issues quickly.
