'This was our second stay here and again we really enjoyed it. Great location and most of all great staff!! One thing I will say is that Expedia advertise that ALL rooms have air conditioning when in fact they dont. Will definitely stay again'

'Very impressed with the service of this lovely hotel. Hotelroom even had guest bathrobes and slippers! Just after check in, someone knocked on our door, to bring us the fresh flower she had forgotten to put on the desk. Very comfy beds, nice hot shower, good breakfast with lots of options. They also responded very well to our food allergies.'

'A large suite with separate bedroom and bathroom, both of a very generous size. This was offered as an upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Staff most attentive and food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended.'

'Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area'

'We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...
