Luxury views but not a luxury condo
We stayed at the Ocean Walk a week before 4th of July for a dance competition. The beach, amenities and pool are amazing! There are lots of shops and restaurants in close proximity. Free parking at the resort.The condo itself left quite a bit to be desired. It hadn't been updated in several years, maybe 15 or 20. The carpet in the bedroom was very old. There was exposed electrical wiring above the dryer. The kitchen faucet would come on intermittently, if it was not in the correct position. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the closet door was not on the track and couldn't open or close. The walls and furniture were dirty. We did contact the hosts while we were there and they sent a maintenance man to put a new handle on the door and put the closet doors back on the track. This was a 3 trip process and probably took them a couple hours to fix the 2 items. Which honestly didn't do much for the situation but I at least appreciated the owners taking immediate action. Overall, it just needs some TLC and updating to bring it in to this century. We went into several other condos in the building that were owned both by ocean walk and third party owners, and our condo was by far the most inferior.
