« This A Frame was an excellent way to camp - a lil bit more put together than a tent, but still with the camping feel. It rained the night I was there and was great to hear the rain coming down while looking out the window and hearing the ocean. The place was clean and having the mats for my sleeping bag was key. « The room was clean. You're basically sharing a portion of Lin and Paul's house. They're very sweet and will try to come greet you when you arrive. They're very kind and helpful, so you can discuss your plans with them. When I arrived, they were preparing dinner, so they asked me to join in for a meal with their family. « Wonderful cabin in a convenient location for exploring the Quinault rain forest, a quieter spot to enjoy Olympic National Park. We hiked several of the nearby trails, went for a swim in the lake (cold but worth it!), and spent time skipping stones at the river just east of the property. We went grocery shopping in Aberdeen before arriving so that we'd have enough food for the entire stay, as there didn't seem to be grocery stores or many (reasonably priced) restaurants in the area.
