Heel mooi hotel！
Het hotel is echt fantastisch! Het is een oud klooster(de naam zegt het al) die ze hebben gerenoveerd en het is prachtig geworden! De service is erg goed, ze zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kamer wordt ‘s ochtends en ‘s avonds(je krijgt zelfs een pillowmint) netjes gemaakt. Het ontbijt is ‘simpel’ maar erg lekker en het wordt goed aangevuld, er is genoeg keuze. Let wel, als je bijv een omelet wilt moet je extra betalen. Ze hebben ook een SPA, zou je kunnen boeken als je wil relaxen. We hebben deze gedaan, en vonden het wel prima. Het was vrij prijzig, je betaalt ook voor het spa gedeelte binnen(sauna, zwembad) en je moet een tijd blokken. Vrij onhandig. Het buitenzwembad is gratis en erg goed te doen! Het ligt op een paar minuten afstand van alle eetgelegenheden af en het centrumpje van Cortona! Dus het hotel is zeer zeker een aanrader! Je kunt overigens parkeren in hun garage, deze is €25 per dag.

Excellent experience!!! Very attentive staff in ALL areas. Room was beautiful!! Breakfast was outstanding!!! Spa space was amazing!!!! A few tight corners but well worth the drive!!!! Love, love, loved the stay!

This is a wonderful hotel. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and professional in every respect. The restaurant and quality of food was wonderful - such a relaxing and comfortable dining room. I'd rate it as one of the best for breakfast that I have experienced. We spent a week at the hotel and would have been quite happy to have stayed longer. We dined out in highly rated restuarants in Cortona but none were better that the hotel restaurant.

The most amazing stay! Literally the best hotel in Cortona. Such a short walk to the city center. My boyfriend and I had the most incredible time, our only regret was that our stay was so short. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. I can’t wait to return! The view from the hotel was INCREDIBLE!

What a wonderful boutique hotel. For the money I can’t imagine a better value and I don’t mean this in any other way than it was a four or five star hotel for almost 3 star prices. The hotel restaurant was simply amazing and the staff was a five star group. The property was immaculate and the spa was beautiful. We will certainly stay there again when we come back. Bravo guys!!!

This is a beautiful Monastery conversion into a quaint boutique hotel. Don’t take your car ! Cortona is a lovely Medieval City and the roads are very, very Narrow.

Don’t know where to start…we have just returned from the most amazing 5 day break at the Monastero. From the second we walked in until moment we left we were met with most friendly, genuine, attentive staff at all levels. The building is beautiful, the rooms comfortable with huge beds and everything you need, clean towels daily and a turn down service with chocolate is a nice touch. Breakfast included is also excellent, again everything you need and a la carte items if you wish and served on the terrace too if you like to make it extra special. Bar fully stocked with everything you could think of and a hugely knowledgeable Bar Manager who will make you anything and his friendliness is another highlight of our stay. Cortona centre is 2 minutes away down a lovely street, every step a head turning moment with either the amazing view or the lanes, piazzas, decor and buildings. All in all we had the most amazing time in an amazing place, 5 stars is an understatement as it deserves more! There’s so much more I could say but if you visit Italy never mind Tuscany you must come and stay here.

Monastero di Cortona Hotel & Spa is the perfect oasis while exploring Cortona. The hotel is within walking distance to most of the Cortona sights and experiences. All the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional (not at all snooty). The hotel is very clean with twice daily room checks to replace linens, empty trash bins, and refill toiletries. The breakfasts offered were well beyond the typical hotel breakfasts - well-presented, fresh, and delicious. The meals we had at the restaurant were beautiful and delectable (some of the best food we have ever had). The pool provided a great reprieve from the heat and the setting is gorgeous. While our room was small (the only option available since we booked late), the space is well laid out and very functional. The king bed and linens were heavenly. We were surprised at how quiet the room was (no banging doors from other quests or any noise at all). The only bad parts are difficulties getting there and having to leave.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel located right in the heart of Cortona, a few minutes away from restaurants. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were excellent. The pool is such a nice amenity, just wish there was a place where we could lie down and read a book. It's impossible to relax, sitting on a dining iron chair.

This property was stunning. Gorgeous views westward over the rolling Tuscan hills, paired with a cozy spa and relaxing outdoor pool were the perfect setting for a portion of our honeymoon. What a beautiful hotel, the room was spacious clean and extremely well presented. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was delicious and facilities great too. I loved the personal touches like the biscuits and water in the room with a note on arrival and also on the last day. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! :-)

Our only wish is that we could give it more than an excellent rating! Monastero di Cortona has a staff that goes above and beyond in everything they do. The grounds are spectacular and the work they have done in renovating the former monastery is beyond words. Morning breakfast was delicious. Weather didn't cooperate to enjoy the outdoor areas, but would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to Cortona.

Excellent hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff! The breakfast was delicious and our room was exceptional. If you’re not an experienced driver who is comfortable with steep, narrow Italian streets, I suggest leaving the car outside of the city walls before getting to the hotel. I will be returning to this hotel in the future and will make sure to try the spa!
