THE SPACE
Downstairs: a king bedroom with its own full bath, great for grandparents or anyone who would rather skip the stairs. Upstairs: a second king bedroom and a room with two double beds. 2.5 baths in all. Great for a fishing trip with friends, a family beach week, or grandparents bringing the grandkids. Multiple TVs with Spectrum and Netflix, two sunny patios, and a full kitchen for cooking what you catch.

BOATERS: the slip directly behind the condo is marked 1910. There are long boat-and-trailer parking spots on the property, visible from the back patio, plus a fish-cleaning station. Launch at Rockport Beach (no pass needed with a boat) and cruise across Little Bay into the canal.

FISHING: anyone 17 or older needs a Texas fishing license with a saltwater endorsement. Quiet hours start at 10 PM; this is a small, quiet community.

In town for a tournament? Rockport Country Club and the ball fields in Portland are an easy drive. WINTER (Dec-Feb): monthly stays welcome, with a big discount on 28+ nights. Whooping crane boat tours leave from Fulton Harbor, trout and redfish bite all winter, and the black drum run starts in February. Clean your catch at the station on site.
