'We had a fantastic stay! The hotel staff were very kind, helpfull and respectfull. We had an issue with a small leak in our bathroom and the woman at the reception was so helpfull right away. The only thing we didn’t like so much (but that’s really it!) was the expensive food, drinks and spa. There are small shops around the corner of the hotel.'

'Ik had dit hotel gekozen omdat het een resort-hotel zou zijn. Daar heb ik niet veel van gemerkt; je kunt je laten masseren en het heeft een buitenzwembad, dacht niet echt schoon uitzat en weinig uitnodigend uitzat. Nu was het wel vrij koud (17 graden), dus ik was sowieso niet van plan erin te gaan. Het restaurant was belachelijk duur. ' I truly enjoyed the time at Tropical Hideaway as a solo traveller. The proximity to the sea and the mountain, not to mention Olleh hiking trails, made it so perfect. Only downside is reataurants because most of them close relatively early. Swimming pool was almost to myself during the day, and the bathtub after night run made my day.'

'The gym was very tiny, almost no equipment. I mean maybe smaller than my room. bathroom adjacent to it was dirty. Also everything was open, no cardes doors. The room was okay, but no view fron the window, because it was all etched glass. Opening one window taught me the other building was 50cm away, so no matter. Bed was okay and gaming computer fun. Breakfeast roll was good and timely. Was woken up twice late at night, because people were talking in the hallway with kids. With KIDS at 23:30....

"The hotel did not meet the expectations for a 5-star hotel. The staff spook very poorly English. They could not wash our clothes (4 nights stay) despite the laundry service offered. The clothes would not be back for 5 days despite the 2 days they promise it would take. Very unfortunate. The sunbeds at the pool were terrible, no comfort at all, no pillows or anything. Beds were very small, eventhough we booked a twin room, you expect at least a 180 cm bed. And the bathroom is very outdated - a shower in bathtub… We are not returning to this hotel! "
