'The building is in disrepair and need some serious attention. There is mold and mildew in the bathroom around the tub. There was an old coffee pod in the coffee maker. The staff is always amazing at this facility, but the building really needs remodeled, updated and cleaned up. There are so few options in this area to stay and we like to visit our hometown. I don’t want this property to wind up being a five and a six like the other hotels around here.'

'We stayed for two nights to attend a local race. The front desk clerk, who was very nice, changed our room to a 2nd floor corner room, which he said was one of the finest he had. The room was huge, but sparsely furnished. 'Exactly what we hoped for. Wish we would have had more time than 2 nights. Did some fishing off the dock, enjoyed the peacefulness of the yard and the lake. Driveway is very steep but we knew this ahead of time so no issues.'

'This house was an amazing jewel to stay at! Fantastic location off the lake and close to Alabaster with an easy commute. Our group loved sitting by the fire each night and the amount of seating is perfect for a large group. We had a maintenance issue during our stay and the housekeeper came out immediately to assist.
