  • Holy Loch Lodge est un lodge privé situé dans le pittoresque Hunters Quay surplombant le spectaculaire Holy Loch. Situé dans un endroit privilégié dans un cul-de-sac, cet accueillant lodge offre tout le confort moderne et un accueil chaleureux chez les familles et les couples souhaitant passer du temps ensemble.

    Intérieur
    L'intérieur a été récemment rénové pour créer une atmosphère chaleureuse et contemporaine. Le salon décloisonné est doté de deux confortables canapés inclinables en cuir, parfaits pour lire un bon livre, un verre de vin ou tout simplement vous détendre et profiter du temps en famille. Profitez de la Smart TV 49 pouces, de la connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, ou encore de jeux, livres et assortiments de DVD. Il y a une salle à manger assise pour un maximum de quatre avec de belles vues et une cuisine bien équipée.

    Les deux chambres lumineuses et ensoleillées comprennent une chambre double principale, une armoire intégrée et une commode avec miroir. La chambre lits jumeaux est équipée d'une armoire et d'un bureau, idéal pour les enfants. Les deux chambres disposent d'une télévision à écran plat et partagent une salle de bains familiale avec douche, lavabo avec miroir éclairé, prise pour rasoir et toilettes.

    À l’extérieur se trouve une grande terrasse privée entièrement clôturée avec une table de patio et quatre chaises pour profiter des journées ensoleillées et détendues ou pour savourer des repas en plein air tout en admirant la vue sur le loch au loin. Idéal pour s'asseoir dehors par tous les temps ou simplement pour sécher le chien / les vêtements et les bottes mouillés.

    Il y a un parking privé pour deux voitures. Pour atteindre le Holy Loch Lodge, il existe une entrée séparée pour les pavillons privés, séparée de l'entrée du village de vacances.

    Les chiens bien élevés sont les bienvenus, maximum deux par séjour - des frais s'appliquent.

    Le Holy Loch Lodge est situé au sein du village de vacances Hunters Quay (activités gratuites et payantes). Il propose un centre de loisirs, deux piscines intérieures, un spa, un centre de remise en forme, un bar et un restaurant ainsi que des aires de jeux intérieure et extérieure pour les enfants. Les clients peuvent payer directement pour utiliser les installations du village de vacances - les activités payées ne sont pas incluses dans le prix de l'hébergement.

    Dunoon se trouve à environ 3 km du The Lodge et abrite des cafés, des pubs et des restaurants locaux. Il constitue un pied-à-terre idéal pour explorer la région avec ses nombreuses promenades pittoresques, ses pistes cyclables, ses paysages grandioses et son abondance d'animaux sauvages, notamment les phoques et les marsouins Estuaire de Clyde.

Family Summer Trip

Excellent lodge with great amenities inside and also available on site. Peaceful and quiet in a lovely location with views of the hills and lochs. Would definitely consider going back again for a similar stay (7 days). Communication was accurate and timely, with a useful information pack supplied which provided detailed information about the lodge itself and also local eateries and attractions, which we checked out personally. All in all, a great little spot for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from home.

Let down by housekeeping

Lovely lodge, but let down by their housekeeper. (No towels, dusty, dirty washing under single bed) However, we did have a lovely relaxing holiday and loved the enclosed balcony...

Cowal gathering

Would book this lodge again but not for Cowal gathering as price is to expensive and could only book for 7 nights. I found the wooden framed slatted bed to low and the mattress to thin and uncomfortable. It was a nuisance having to mind and switch on the ĥot water but to mind and leave it on for 30 minutes only. The access road to the lodge is a total disgrace and only used it once then after used the main entrance. À bonus was the dishwasher and a good size fridge freezer we loved the interior decor especially the reclining sofas. Our dog loved to lie outside on the covered porch. Overall our party of 4 enjoyed our stay.

Holy Loch Lodge

Enjoyed the location. Refurbished kitchen and sitting room areas were really good but bedrooms less so and beds not the most comfortable. We had to fix wardrobe and shower doors back on to their runners. Instructions need to be updated. Instructions about setting the heating would have been helpful instead of trial and error. There were instructions for operating the washing machine but there was no washing machine. Dishwasher instead was useful. Serious concern about the potholes and state of the approach road with potential damage to vehicle.

Holy Loch Lodge

We were advised to use the private residents access road and it was in a disgusting state full of pot holes some very deep that the car dipped, loose gravel and my partner was worried about what it was doing to his car when using it. The main bedroom the wardrobe would not open, the doors were stuck so had to use twin room unit, the bathroom especially the shower door kept coming off their runners so had to keep one closed and squeeze in and the toilet was quite low down so anyone with mobility problems might find that difficult to use. The kitchen especially the oven, someone probably a previous tenant, had obviously spilt fat in the oven and when we came to use it, there was a horrid burning smell and smoke coming out of it, so after that one attempt we never used again, it needs a thorough clean. Comfort wise it was fine and was nice having access to the veranda for the dogs but unfortunately whilst we were there a lodge across was having joiner work done so had to close the door to keep sawing noise out. Outside of cabin needed some attention, weeding. A positive, was lovely to see wildlife running around, deers, rabbits and squirrels was nice.

Prachtig huisje op een mooi vakantiepark. van alle faciliteiten voorzien. De bedden kraakte wel erg waardoor we wel veel wakker werden. tevens kuil in de bedden. Slaapcomfort was voor ons niet voldoende.

Disappointed

Very disappointed with the Lodge. In need of updating and TLC. Sofas in Lounge area in poor condition especially 2 seater all taped up and ripped at the back. Twin room dressing table very badly marked with ring marks. Very uncomfortable bed. Decking area not cleaned before arrival. Very disappointed as the price charged we expected better!

Very Disappointed

Booked because of good reviews, and need something clean due to covid. Location of property was excellent as I have stayed in many parts of the complex and would rate it one of the best. But unfortunately the place was not clean as the shower was full of mould which I cleaned myself. Oven was dirty, carpet not vacuumed and even found medication on the floor! Found this very disturbing due to the fact it was supposed to be deep covid cleaned. Sofas could do with updating as the have tape holding them together. Over all very disappointing experience. This was not a cheap booking.

A comfortable & enjoyable experience !

Everything I needed was there in terms of home comforts ..... parking was OK & the site location was perfect ! ... the local people were friendly too :) The only thing I felt that needed clarifying was the central heating instructions, there were none local to the boiler/ digital control panel !! Otherwise everything was fine :)

A pleasant stay

Our stay at Holy Loch Lodge (2 adults + 1 child) was pleasant and enjoyable. The lodge was clean and comfortable and the area very quiet (end of August/early Sept). The cottage has more TVs than we could make use of. It is otherwise reasonably well equipped (incl. washing machine and microwave, no dish washer; fridge on the small side but sufficient for three persons for a week), except that we missed a few standard cooking utensils (cutting board etc.).

Great Location

May break in Holy Lodge

We have just returned from an enjoyable break in Holy Lodge. Holy Lodge is situated at the quieter end of the Hunters Quay site. It is a bright lodge, having a lovely, open outlook and good views. There is plenty of (grassed) space around the lodge which our daughters loved playing on. The lodge inside was a little tired but was very warm (heating and hot water very efficient) and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and the tv and wifi facilities worked great. Having a washing machine was useful too! Overall we had a great stay and would visit again.

Overall the stay was enjoyable. The lodge itself needs some upgrading. The settees were slightly damaged and the shower door was faulty. All the basics that were needed were in place and it was warm enough. The TVs in both rooms and in the living room was nice to have, as it kept the kids entertained. Great location and lovely views from decking area.

Week break in Scotland

Me and my partner had a lovely break in the lodge. Everything you need for a self catering break in a beautiful part of Scotland. All the facilities you require are on the site and when you get out and about it is just beautiful. If you are a out doors person then i would recommend this place, especially if you love scenery and wildlife. (red squirrels everywhere and deer feeding on the lawn). But don't just stay on the site there are some lovely walks and attractions within a short drive. All you need is the weather....

Just had 5 days staying at number 3 Deercroft Hunters Quay. Great place to stay. We love Dunoon. This is the perfect place to stay. Great value for money, great location, very clean. Just beautiful. Didnt want to come home. Will definitely be returning.

Great weekend

We booked the lodge for a quiet celebration for my daughters 18th. Lodge was spotless and had everything you needed with maybe the exception of an extra blanket or two as it was a bit chilly at night. Great location and apart from the terrible potholes on the way up was easy enough to find following the instructions given. Would definitely recommend for peace and tranquility. Thank you for a great weekend.
