'The hotel has a beautiful old entrance and is situated right outside of the city center close to a parking garage. The breakfast selection was big and you could also order eggs or waffles.
We even got a free upgrade from classic to deluxe.
The only downside of the hotel would be the shower. It is a bath/shower combination so the shower is quite low and not as convenient as a regular shower. '
'Staff was really friendly and spoke perfect English. Good breakfast in beautiful clubbing area. Room was great, beautifully styled. Bathroom a bit overdesigned which takes room space and because the door didn’t close entirely, you could hear everything going on in the bathroom. In all, great value for money!'
'We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is wonderful - such an attractive and convenient area. To be able to park directly opposite with no charge was perfect. It was a safe and enjoyable 20 minute walk to the edge of the older part of the city.
The studio apartment was light and spacious with a lovely view over the park. We especially liked the little balcony. The bathroom was modern with a great shower.
We felt this was a high quality and good value stay - we’d recommend it in...
'Staff were very friendly. Even if we forgot our keys in the room, they helped us to get back in even if it was Christmas night without complaining or issueing any fines/extra costs. That was simply extraordinary. The room’s cleaned everyday and it was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would pick this hotel once again for my next time in that region'
'Fine stay in a junior suite. The remark at checkin that an upgrade we were entitled to was not available and then was compensated with a free drink was a kind of cheapo. Some, minor, things we missed we will comuncate with the hotel other then there was no climate control in the room. The heath was on or off, Regulating the temperature by opening or closing the windows while heavy roadworks are going on is no picnic. But then again it was compensated with another free drink😉. Luckily not all...
'Het hotel ligt recht tegenover de tram naar het centrum van Straatsburg. Ideaal dus. Van de drukke weg heb je binnen echt geen last.
De bedden mogen wel vernieuwd worden. Ze zijn erg laag en het matras is vrij hard. Ook de hoofdkussens stellen niets voor. Zelf had ik er twee nodig.
Het ontbijt is keurig en goed verzorgd.
Net hotel, heel vriendelijk personeel.
Voor 1 of 2 nachten zeker een aanrader.'
'Schone kamer en goed ontbijt voor Franse begrippen. Parkeren in de afgesloten parkeergarage voor 8 Euro per dag. Slecht 2,5 km gelegen van het centrum en tramhaltes voor het hotel. Overigens zijn wij gelopen naar het centrum dit was goed te doen. '
'The People Hostal is een eeg fijne plek om te verblijven. Wij verbleven er op een familiekamer met eigen sanitair. Nette kamers, vriendelijke personeel, leuke sfeer, centrale ligging en goed ontbijt. Er is geen airco op de kamer wel een kleine waaier. Het was erg warm in de kamer. '
'Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het personeel vond de kamer te krap voor ons drietjes (gezin met dochter van 13 jaar) en bood ons zonder bijbetaling het souterrain aan. Hier bevond zich een familiekamer met 2 persoonsbed en stapelbed, 2 badkamers en een keuken. Heel vriendelijk!
Tram is schuin aan de overkant en het centrum van Kehl is op 5 minuten loopafstand. '

"Hotel is advertised with valet parking, but there is none. They have 7 parking spots and then you have to drive to the nearby parking garage. Walking with your big suitcases through the city. Not 5 star worthey. And the garage is only suitible for smaller cars. I booked 3 nights and had to go in and out the garage 12 time, damaging 3 of my wheels wich will cost me serious money to repair. So all the platforms and websites stop advertising this hotel with valet parking, there is none. 4 star hotel max. The food in the restaurant was not 5 star hotel restaurant worthy. Room was good and clean."

Petit France and cathedral and all the shopping streets are easily walkable.
Breakfast has unique make your own juice section and the food was amazing. A lot of local specialties of offer.
The room was really comfortable with excellent bathroom and shower.
There is also a fridge.
Bed was a bit smallish.
All in all an excellent boutique hotel.

"What I loved most about the place is very friendly and helpful staff. I got a welcome present for the holiday season and there was mulled wine available 24/7 at the reception. With windows closed, the noise from the railway is practically unperceivable. It was nice to have a kitchen as well. The installations, however, need renovation and refurbishment and the rooms could be cosier and more welcoming as they currently feel like a dorm or a hospital. All in all, a fair price-quality relationship and it's also well situated, so can recommend."
