'Beautiful setting. Love the old mansion. The rooms were beautiful but the beds were very uncomfortable and the ability to block out the morning light wasn’t great'

'I am not sure how to rate the property since it seems like they are doing upgrades. So maybe if I stayed here in a few months I might have a better experience. My room had a smell to it. The chair in the room was years past needing to be replaced. Not to mention the broken sha ds on the dollar store lamps. The shower was very dated and didn’t work well. Not to mention the mold on the ceiling. The staff didn’t seem like they wanted to be there either.'

'This was my first stay in a Hilton Home2 Suites hotel and I was delighted with my room. It was spacious and bright and clean and had a great little kitchen that was well supplied with dishes and utensils. I loved the couch also- so much more comfortable than the usual hotel chairs. I’d definitely stay in this chain again if available on my travels.'

'Very small rooms in this old-fashioned roadside motel. Some cosmetic upgrades have taken place but there's only so much you can do for an old cinder block building. The biggest problem was heat. It's radiant heat with no way to control it. They have a fake thermostat for a central air furnace on the wall, but it does nothing. 'This was the WORST experience EVER! The only thing the room was missing was bedbugs. The floor was OILY! It smelled like stale cigarettes and pizza. There was hair on the toilet. The bathroom floor mat turned burn when I wiped the floor. The tub had nothing in it to stop me from slipping, so I put a towel down, the towel turned brown before I even stepped into the shower! We booked this motel at the last minute for a one-night stay in Saginaw this past weekend, based on price point and reading all the reviews online. The reviews were completely inaccurate. 'We booked a king suite for our anniversary. The hotel was in excellent condition and very clean. The gym looked to be in great condition although we didn't use it.
