'I was a bit hesitant staying at a Marston hotel due to previous experience bit this property restored that. Staff from outset were welcoming and the rooms was better than expected. Food in the restaurant was amazing. Overall the 2 day stay was well worth it. Would deffently stay here again. '

'Plenty and easy parking. When I entered the bar, I was confronted with Theakstone's on draught, real ale, which is one of my all time favourites (only temporarily available) so I knew that my stay was going to be excellent. Nice food, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. It was my first stay, but hopefully not my last. My routing when travelling in the UK varies, but I hope I can include the Forest Lodge in my future travel plans. It would be worth driving a bit extra to arrive here. '
