I booked a room with this property for 1 night, the next day before check out I called the front desk and advised I would stay another night. After some discussion I realized I had to go thru Expedia again to get a lower rate, which I did. Unknown to me the employee at the front desk CANCELED my reservation and did not advised me of this.
Later that day while I was in the room, this employee showed up at my door with the "manager" and advised me my resv. had been cancelled. After a lenghty discussion as to why???? I have yet to understand why I was cancelled. Ive stayed at the property many times in the last 6 months. Also, the employee said she had called my room twice to advise. If she did I never heard it. In fact when I had called the desk earlier, and told her I would just get a reservation via Expedia, she stated she would have to talk to the "manager" and see if that was "ok". She put me on hold for 20 mins and never came back on to advise me , at any time. Also as previously mentioned when the manager and employee came to my room door, she had told the manager I had come to front desk to drop my 2 room key cards off. I did not. I showed the manager the 2 keys which were in my pocket.
Lastly, the employee handed me a typed letter which said the room had been cancelled, a cancellation # (which Expedia CS could not find in the system), and the letter ERRONEOUSLY stated I had cancelled the room.
I DID NOT!
