Five siblings plus partners stayed for four days. Laughing cooking. Game playing. The property had everything we needed. Plus a cool under the stairway alcove. Perfect for reading but still in the mix with others. Strongly recommend
We enjoyed our stay. The parking out front off street was great. We were close to basically everything we wanted to do, including an easy drive to get to the aquarium and even walkable to get to Clumpies. The recommendation for Aretha Frankensteinās was great and basically just a block away! House had plenty of space for all of us. Listing and comments were accurate, it was an older home and knowing that going in helped set expectations. The kids enjoyed the game table and games as well as the multiple rooms to TV watch and hanging out in the reading nook. Communication with owner was quick and easy the one time we needed something. Overall a great stay and kids asked to come back and stay again.
House was very nice for a weekend trip. Living room was a very good spot to hangout. Wish the outside would have been alittle more maintained. We took the king room but other guests would have liked a small tv in rooms. Nice neighborhood, pretty quiet. Very close to everything you needed.
We loved almost everything about this house. I may not have read all of the information on this house before booking but warning: There are a lot of steps to climb into the house and once in the house there is another big flight of steps to get to the upstairs bedrooms. We needed the exercise after a long drive to get to this location so the first few trips up the steps weren't too bad. But getting coolers & heavier luggage up wore us out. The house is chopped up quite a bit, but that is part of its charm. Someone did a nice job renovating it and making the most of its space. It came with everything we needed and some extra little perks that were nice to have since we arrived late at night.
Everything about the stay was great. The house was well equipped and the location was great. If there was ever a need or question the hosts immediate response was excellent. We would definitely stay at this property again.
We had a lovely stay. The house has everything you need and lots of space in a charming neighborhood. We were here for Ironman so the location was perfect. Sunnie is great and quick to respond.
This house has a lot of character. It was very clean and our kids had a blast exploring the different rooms and the reading nook. Kitchen is well-stocked. Itās also very close to downtown. Great stay overall.
Everyone said that they really enjoyed themselves. The living room area was large and accommodating. The bedrooms were nice. I would stay at this residence again.
This was a lovely place for a friendās get together weekend!! The host was very responsive with our questions! Close to restaurants and shops, and quick Ubers to other parts of Chattanooga! If I am ever back will stay here again!!
Treehouse on Tremont is a fantastic home. Tons of room and so many beds to choose from. Foosball table was a hit with the kids. Host has a book with lots of local tips which allowed us to find Aretha Frankensteins which is only 200 steps away with great coffe and wonderful pancakes, worth the 200 steps. Host was great with communication and checking on us during our stay. 5+ stars!
Great location for downtown visit. We enjoyed our stay for the most part aside for a few hiccups.
The house is very eclectic and cool, however with that comes a few challenges. There are definitely not enough outlets and the ones they have are not in great locations. We were in Chattanooga for a wedding so there was lots of primping happening. The main upstairs bathroom only has one outlet and itās across the bathroom from the sink, above the toilet! There is a little office nook outside of the bathroom with plenty of outlets, but no mirror and bad lighting. This area would be great for a vanity area if the lighting were better. The other upstairs bathroom is very tiny, but has a small nook outside with a mirror, but NO outlets. We managed to rearrange somethings and get what we needed where we needed it, but there are definitely some logistical challenges.
The king sized bed upstairs makes a lot of noise. I think that the box springs are on incorrectly. Every time my husband or I got into the bed I was afraid we would go through the floor.
All in all we enjoyed our short stay.
We really enjoyed the location of the house. We walked to breakfast at Aretha Frankensteinās and also to Walnut Bridge and the Seafood Festival. Our kids loved the bunk beds. We didnāt receive our entrance code before check-in, but Sunnie was quick to respond when we sent her a message. There were only 3 kitchen garbage bags and two dishwasher pods, which was not near enough for a four day stay and ten people. Also, we could not use the outdoor fire pit area because it was not mowed and very weedy. Other than that, we enjoyed the house and our stay!
We stayed with two other families for a few nights and enjoyed ourselves. The house was clean and a great location. It felt nice and homey and had cute decorations for the holidays. Wouldnāt be a great fit for someone with limited mobility as there are a lot of stairs, both outside and in.
Sunnie was very responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. The house was clean and had plenty of space for families with kids. I appreciated the high chair and pack n play for the kids. The only problem we had was my older dad had a hard time walking up and down the stairs. There are several sets of stairs due to the topography of the lot. So this may not be the best rental for elderly or disabled individuals. Otherwise, we had a great stay over the Christmas holiday.
Overall, we liked the property. Beautiful decor for a remodeled older home. The layout is perfect for multiple families. The kitchenette upstairs worked perfectly to warm baby bottles etc. I will say to plan to walk steps if you have mobility issues but we didnāt mind. Our Chattanooga Christmas trip was a success. Host was quick to answer all questions.
The house had plenty of space for all 8 of our family, including 3 younger children. We all stayed upstairs and enjoyed the comfortable beds. The fire pit and grill were nice and we utilized both during our stay. We arrived on a cold afternoon and the heat was not turned on downstairs so we had a chilly nice downstairs the first evening as it took the unit until the next morning to warm up the downstairs. Other than that, all went smoothly and the host had so many nice extra touches provided.
We loved our stay in this unique older home on a hillside in Chattanooga!
There were 3 small family groups in our party and everyone found their own area for privacy and relaxing. We were pleased that there was a coffee bar upstairs as well as downstairs. Even though it was an older home it was well maintained and the floors and stairs were not squeaky at all. The furniture was comfortable and the beds were too. The home decor is cute and there is even a home office area if needed. The kitchen is extremely well furnished with everything you could possibly need if you choose to cook or eat meals in the home. We enjoyed looking at the area information and restaurant menus that the host has placed in an information area. The host is extremely responsive to our questions and very understanding when we reported that we had an accidental glass breakage.
We would definitely stay here again!
The owner Sunnie went above and beyond with helping us. She responded quickly and even adapted a few things to help as I'd had an injury shortly before stay. We left an important item and she made sure it was returned to us. I definitely give her 5 stars. As to the house,it's more a few things to be aware of. It is nice overall. There was plenty of keurig coffee and most the basics to start off. The house is in a nice family type neighborhood, but not really walking distance to much for kids or older adults. Be prepared for stairs everywhere, including inside on the main floor. You can only access the outside backyard from through the upstairs, which was a loss for us. Some of these things can't really be changed much, due to local terrain. Otherwise inside some of the family did say shelving/dresser space in the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms could be perhaps added and helpful. The refrigerator and stove interiors could use a deep clean. Overall we had a very nice stay and found plenty to do and the people lovely.
We traveled for a long weekend stay. It was a large beautiful home that was perfect for our group. They have everything you could think of and more at this location. We traveled with a toddler and forgot the stroller and they had an umbrella stroller tucked away! I was amazed. I definitely underestimated the amount of steps when I read the listing but it was not a big deal for our group. Just a little added cardio. I would 10/10 stay at this location again if we were in the area.
