« I had a great two nights here. Was in town to visit friends and family and this was perfect for me. The place was clean and just as advertised. Will definitely look to stay here again when back in town! »

« The management was so friendly and accommodating, and the property was cozy with a spectacular view and deck right on Lake Huron! 5 stars for sure!! »

« When i got to the address it took a while 15 mins to locate the cabin, a local lady helped me find the sun-bleached signs by the entrance, she told me go straight back on the road and there it was. I could tell by looking around it was not clean. I cleaned the outhouse and swept the floor in the cabin. Overall it was quite and comfortable . Needs a table and chairs .Jerry »

« Very clean. Cozy cabin experience. Nights got a little cold, wish there was a thermostat for heat control. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Definitely will return. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was the perfect up north experience. The location was great for going to Oscoda or Tawas. We enjoyed sunrise on the lake and also evening fires in the fire pit. The communication from the owner was timely and also very helpful. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything needed to cook our meals at the cabin. »

« Great host. Quaint, authentic cottage. Perfect for our travels. Short distance from a beautiful drive down the shore of lake michigan. Stopped and got ice cream on our way back to the cottage. »

« We came up for a quick weekend getaway. Location is good, just outside of East Tawas and not far from oscoda. There’s a washer and dryer which is great for drying out your bathing suits/towels. Plenty of towels on hand, and they have a well stocked kitchen; bowls, cups, pots/pans, etc. The Keurig coffee pot was a plus. Each bedroom has a TV, and the beds are comfortable. The house is decorated nicely, and has a kalimba. »

« The property is located right on Saginaw Bay and it’s very peaceful and quiet. »

« Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a short drive to Tawas or Oscoda which was perfect for we had things going in both towns. »

« My sister and I traveled to Bay City for a quick getaway. We hoped to see some of the Fall colors and enjoy some shopping and relaxing! Shirley's Temple was lovely! We loved the views and accommodations! We hope to return sometime! »

« Every time we are at Barefoot Beach we instantly relax. It is actually hard to leave! Great facilities, beautiful beach, we have fun sitting by the bonfire. Well worth staying there! »
