We enjoyed sunrise on the lake and also evening fires in the fire pit. The communication from the owner was timely and also very helpful. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything needed to cook our meals at the cabin.'

'Stayed for one night with 6 family members and the dog. Lodged in one of the newer cabins and it worked perfect for us. Check was available right on time and parking was close enough to make the move in convenient. Very clean and ready to go when we showed up. The amenities are great for both the cabin and the property as a whole. Family took out the kayaks on the lake to explore with were all in great condition. Charcoal grill and table right outside cabin door was perfect for out cookout...

'Every time we are at Barefoot Beach we instantly relax. It is actually hard to leave! Great facilities, beautiful beach, we have fun sitting by the bonfire. Well worth staying there!'

'We came up for a quick weekend getaway. Location is good, just outside of East Tawas and not far from oscoda. There’s a washer and dryer which is great for drying out your bathing suits/towels. Plenty of towels on hand, and they have a well stocked kitchen; bowls, cups, pots/pans, etc. The Keurig coffee pot was a plus. Each bedroom has a TV, and the beds are comfortable. The house is decorated nicely, and has a kalimba. '
