'This is a hard review to write because some of it was great and other parts were terrible. The hotel itself is very run-down, but on the other hand my bathroom was great - like a bathroom from a different hotel. The facilities were clean, but on the other hand, the microwave in the community kitchen was the filthiest I've ever seen. (To be fair, I mentioned it to the manager and the next morning it looked better.) There is a weird smell in the hallways - maybe cleaning products, I don't know....

'I’m not really sure what to say or where to start. I almost decided to sleep in my car. The people were friendly and sociable (aside from the host taking my phone off airplane mode when I asked for the wifi password; $20, kaching, for roaming!) but the home… hygiene was an issue from the kitchen to bathroom (bring your own toilet paper), the bedsheet was laid down, not big enough to be tucked, mosquitoes in the room all night, even a closed (?) door could not keep out the pot smell from the...

'We travelled down from the Gold Coast to attend a game of AFL at the MCG. This was a great hotel which was easy walking distance to and from the game. We also walked . back to the city for lunch which was a great walk through the tennis center. Our check in was easy and the lovely receptionist explained everything to us and was very helpful. The apartment was spacious and comfortable easy for two couples or a family of four. Great value for money and we will return and stay here again to watch...
