'We selected Siena as our starting point for our hike on the via francigenia to Roma. This was a great property for us to acclimate to Italy. We had a bit of a walk to get down into the city but it was great to prep us for our long pilgrimage. We got see a Palio race and it was great time to be in Siena. The accommodations were spectacular. The weather was hot but the ceiling fans on high kept us cool at night and we slept well. Thanks for making our via francigenia starting point so wonderful. '

'Wij hebben genoten van ons onderkomen. Attente host die na onze vraag welk koffiezetapparaat er aanwezig was (klein Italiaans app) een bonen koffiemachine neergezet, super lief. We hadden alleen een kleine badkamer, maar dat was minder erg. Verder toplocatie. Het enige wat ze misschien uit hun advertentie kunnen halen is -dicht bij zee-. TIP….. Maak leuke foto’s van jullie mooie kleine dorpje.'

'It was a lovely apartment and the host is absolutely fabulous and easy to talk/chat with and responsive and they went above and beyound when I left my wallet behind on the day I flew out. When I stayed it was extremely hot(big European heat wave) and it was difficult to get cooled down at night but I think this was unusual time but be careful if you are sensitive to the heat at night.'

'The property has been updated. Everything you could need was provided. All the place looks new and the appliances and cookware very nice. A great living room and a very comfortable kitchen dinnig room with everything you need. The downsides is you need to go up by stairs 3 floors. There is only washing machine no dryer. You have to park the car far from the apartment and walk like 12 minutes from the parking.'

'The host is excellent. Perfect English and Italian. Thoughtful and great communication. Parking instructions were accurate. The apartment was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The apartment is walkable to dining and shopping. The street is steep and the nearby medievale hill town is steeper. While we loved walking up to the hill town everyday, we liked the variety of dining and shopping near the apartment.'

'We had a wonderful time staying at the house. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature and the house itself is charming and well cared for. 'We were able to walk all over Siena and loved our location. Also, one of the reasons we stay in VRBO's is that we get a chance to get a feel of what it is like to live like in a citizen in the community. IThis unit has a great view of rooftops and of the tower in the main square. You are living among the residents of the building. We loved that! The only thing I would have older people take note of is that the rooms are a step down or step up or half a step down, or half a step up to other parts...
