« Location location location. House is perfect for a weekend getaway. Jim, the host, is super chill and exactly the type of host you want to deal with. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, all stocked. We needed nothing. Will be returning for sure. »

« Lots of B&B type atmosphere in the property, spacious to hang out, great location near the village with restaurants a short walk. 3rd bedroom is only reachable through the second bedroom. Great yard and accommodation for our dog. Host is great. Significant trek to the beach. »

« This was perfect for the three of us; me, my son and his girlfriend! We came to see my granddaughter's choir perform at Disney but decided to make it a vacation as well. We enjoyed the comforts of the house and that it was so close to the beach and Carlsbad Village. Spent a lot of time walking in town and not enough time walking on the beach. Everyone was friendly and the host was most accommodating. We had a great stay! »

« I had thought about letting things go but more and more things came up during my stay. First of all, the owner’s parents live in the front unit so be prepared to be both reported on and expect the host Sabine to always be around. My first impression of the casita was that it was cute and being in the village, it was a convenient spot to be in. That’s where the pros ended. I wouldn’t recommend this place especially in the summertime because being a converted garage, it was really hot and stuffy...

« The house was fantastic, very cozy, comfortable, big and lots of light. The location and neighborhood was close to the beach and needed stores, and felt super safe and friendly. The beach vibe was so fun, we loved it! The only small confusion was with check in and check out. There were no instructions and we had to do trial and error with door locks and property access, etc. Would suggest a welcome manual. »
