Cons: Tiny & dark rooms. Bad idea to paint a small room dark brown. Dog friendly hotel, thus barking dogs. Carpets everywhere, with dog smell. The inner side of the bar looked filthy.
Pro’s: food is good & affordable, compared to the rest of Schotland. Friendly personel. A nice park adjacent to the hotel.

A tiny, traditional cottage tucked away on the Ross of Mull, close to the sea.

We stayed in ‘The Bothy’ at Artun. Mrs Cameron met us and made us feel welcome. The position of the Bothy was good for us as it was close to the loch and we saw an otter. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. Thank you.

Good location looking straight down to the sea loch…otters close by though we failed to see them. The local walk along the b road is lovely….looking towards The Wilderness. Mrs Campbell is a real character…gets very heated if you leave the gate open, but otherwise very chatty and amiable.
