'I made a booking and received confirmation stating standard ID requirements applied at check-in. However, this is not the case. As there is no reception desk to check into, I was asked to upload a photo of my driver’s licence in addition to a selfie holding my bankcard displaying my full name and expiry dates. I was further asked to provide a screenshot of my bank account that payment had been made from. I queried how my personal ID, images and banking details were being stored and voiced...

'Comfortable modern apartment, nice view, handy to Toowong Station and UQ. Check-in was tricky (involving several platforms, filling in a check-in form and uploading photos of various documents - fiddly and time-consuming - also the check-in instruction was ambiguous on the lockbox location, so I had to make a late-night call to the host for help to clarify it) and then check-out was a nightmare, as the keycode on the lockbox had been changed (why?) and the code on the checkout instructions...

'We had a wonderful stay at Central Haven with our family of 9. The home was spacious, beautifully styled, and in a fantastic location. The kitchen had everything we needed. Just a heads up - the 4th bedroom (with bunks) is right by the front door, so it got chilly and a bit wet when it rained as there is a big gap in the front door entrance. Other than that, a great experience.'
