« The lodge is beautiful and wonderful surroundings The view is amazing. Very clean and cosy and home from home with everything you need. Hot tub went down well with all. Dafydd was very welcoming and was just at the end of the phone if we needed anything. Already booked for another weekend! »

« The hosts were fabulous and blew is away with their welcome pack but is not suitable to sleep 4. Everything is just in one room and there's only seating for 2 unless you want to sit on a bar stool. The layout also needs rethinking because at one point my wife was in bed having a cup of tea and waved to the hosts as they pulled up in their car. If they switched the sofa and bed you'd get more privacy and be able to watch the tv from the sofa. Otherwise, it was great. Would recommend for a couple. »

« For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet. The local town of Llangadog offers places...

« Hosts were great and lovely and friendly. The hut was very cosy and warmed quickly with the log fire. It's worth noting there's no electricity on site, except a solar powered shared kitchen area and a few solar charged auto lights. The log burner gives off plenty of heat but not much light. A torch would be VERY beneficial. You're on site with lots of animals around which is brilliant for kids and like staying on a farm. Just be wary fly's in the hut can be a problem if doors' windows are left...

« Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away. »

"Hôtel bien situé, grand parking, grande chambre. Plutôt calme. Accueil chaleureux. La zone spa comprend la piscine, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, serviettes et casiers gratuit. Propre et calme. Excellente brasserie aux prix raisonnables. Petit déjeuner buffet complet et plutôt bon, bien fourni même tard. L'hôtel mériterait un rafraichissement surtout au niveau du mobilier mais ça fait partie de son charme."
