« This was our first time staying at an independent hotel and we were welcomed by a polite staff member. However, the conditions of the room and amenities of it could’ve been better such as the shower, the floor and walls. « We had cabin 1 and it was great. Hot tub, wood, everything was lovely and well thought out. Everything you need was there »

« Belle batiment »

« Was a fantastic stay with friendly staff who looked after us. Absolutely one of the best stays on an hotel. Food also was excellent. Both me and my wife would recommend the Gateway. »

« Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. »

« Charmant petit hôtel de passage, les chambres sont assez confortables. Petit point à revoir sur la literie et la propreté de la salle de bain. Nous y avons dîné 2 fois et la nourriture était bonne. Bon rapport qualité / prix! »

« An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions. »
