« This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Chesterfield near shops, the Market, restaurants and pubs. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet with excellent coffee ‘on tap’ and dined in the simple but delicious in house restaurant nearly every night. They have a decent Happy Hour in their small bar too. We shall be returning to this hotel on our next visit to Chesterfield »

« Lovely small quiet hotel in a great area of Sheffield right next to Encliffe Park & walks into the Peak District. Friendly staff & lovely editions to the room, lovely toiletries, water & milk in the fridge & delicious homemade brownies. We got upgraded to a lovely room with a roll top bath. »

« What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. « A hotel located in a beautiful old and picturesque house which offers many on-site conveniences (gym, hairdresser, pub, restaurant, parking) all served by a very welcoming staff. « Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. « Plenty of safe parking onsite. Didn't have breakfast, but had fish n chips for supper and it was really tasty. Room and pub was well maintained and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Reception is fully automated (no dedicated reception staff) but housekeeping and pub staff can provide some assistance. Ideal location for Chatsworth and the surrounding area. »
