'The property was wonderfully decorated and initial supplies plentiful. A very quiet and peaceful experience. The location provided a unique change from our normal flatland home. The only negative involved the loss of internet connection and the contact number provided in the guide for reporting issues did not elicit a response. The outage proved to be a system problem beyond the control of the host. '

'We had a great stay! Christine was excellent at communicating and made everything easy from start to finish. Since we’re moving cross-country with a 5x8 U-Haul attached to our car, we really appreciated the spacious parking. The place was also perfect for our two dogs — they loved the spacious backyard! Would definitely recommend.'

'We thought staying in a container house would be fun…and it was! Great location, near all the places we were going: Fort Davis, McDonald Observatory, and both Big Bend parks. Alpine is a great little town with all the amenities you need. And this home was right in the action. The beds were super comfortable too.'
