We truly enjoyed our stay at the Julian Cabins. Judy, the host, was welcoming and gave us a lot of information both in the notebook in the cabin and our chats. We stayed in the Thieves Den cabin which is lakeside with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed. Our 2 adult children joined us for a few days and slept in the bunk beds - they loved it - brought back childhood memories! My sister rented the cabin behind us, the Kingfisher. Also a nice cabin. The living and dining area were larger than our cabin but the triple bunks would be difficult for adults. We caught a lot of pike, perch, bass and one walleye. Everyone we talked to said it is a good walleye lake but the lake was low so it was difficult to launch boats. We hiked the Lost 40 trail which we highly recommend. The highlight of our visit was a juvenile bear visiting the property! We were in town but Judyâs nephew got a picture of it by our cabin door. No harm done but a reminder it is bear country. We absolutely loved this property and needed this relaxing vacation. Thanks, Judy, for making our stay memorable!
