'What a great spot!! The cottage was perfect for the two of us to regroup and recover after three weeks of intense travel in SEAsia. A short walk up and down a steep hill to the Balmain East ferry whence we explored Sydney Harbor and the city center. It’s all right there and very beautiful. 'The second day, my daughter got sick -so sick that she stayed in her room alone for close to three days thinking she had COVID. However, when we left on Saturday, she felt much better a couple of hours after being out of the house and shortly after returning again felt ill. 'Overall lovely property at a convenient location. We stayed 4 nights with our kids n dog and we enjoyed the stay. There is a separate rental attached to the house ( like a duplex). Andy was very prompt in helping out with any needs or missing staples from pantry.Kids enjoyed the games room however the air con doesn’t work in there and it did get very hot after a while.Air con in the lounge spills out water ( evaporative?) and the water bowl will need to be emptied every so often in a day.
