'We really enjoyed our stay at Lavender House - it's very convenient, only a 10-15 minute walk into Katoomba but also on the quieter side and away from the Easter crowds. The cottage is lovely and quiet - we'd love to go back in Winter and use the fire!'

'My friends and I had a great time at the cottage. It's very well equipped, with a wonderful peaceful garden. The interiors are very homey and has everything you need for a stay in the Blue Mountains.Only downside is that there is not a lot of parking on the property, and off street parking is a little tricky. There was also some broken glass on the carpet in the dining room when we arrived but it was easy enough to clean up.'

'The house was great, spacious living areas and master bedroom, well equipped kitchen. The other bedrooms were good sized single rooms, and the teenage daughter enjoyed her bedroom and privacy. The ducted heating (and cooling) was great, very comfortable temperature wise. For a family of 4 an extra toilet would have been good, however the bathroom and toilet are separate, so that helped. Our host was very helpful and easy to contact.Overall, we really like the house and it's actually the second...
